Sara Glassman writer of the StylePoints column in the Star Tribune chatted with Tim Gunn and did some word association. I clearly have become obsessed with this man. Make it work!

So, Mrs. Jenna – what did you do last night?

Category I am awesome

The only thing saving me at this point is that I didn’t do this on a Friday or Saturday night.

I organized and cleaned the laundry room/kitty litter area of the basement. For two hours. While doing 3 loads of laundry.

I even went so far as to mop the floors.

Anal retentive, OCD – party of one.

Coming clean.

Alright. It’s confessional day on Blogged Bliss. I know many of you who read personally…and a handful of you I don’t. But I have a secret only a couple of you are aware of…and I’ve gotten to the point where I’m tired of hiding it.

I’ve got baby fever.

::deep exhale from weight lifted off shoulders::

Any of you who do know me know this might be the most opposite of anything you’d ever think would come out of my mouth (or fingers) – aside from me announcing I was getting married.

I was the girl in grade school, and I think even high school – where I was stoked to be a single girl forever living in a fancy loft in a big city, with my babies being my cats. The only part of that that’s true is the big city. Don’t get me wrong, I’m extremely happy with the way my life has turned out – it’s just weird how my idea of my future changes with every year.

The hubs and I have talked about having kids just about as long as we’d discussed getting married. It was inevitable that we were going to get married, and the same applies to having kids. We finally kind of decided that we are going to start trying later this year. I’m both deathly afraid and totally elated about getting pregnant. And I’m also extremely scared that for whatever reason I won’t be able to.

Okay. That’s enough on that topic. I could go on and on about it…but I’d rather not be that girl.

Also – don’t be confused. I still get crabby with screaming babies and annoying brats. They’re not all cute. I don’t want them all. I just think it’d be kinda cool to have my own someday.

And, discuss.

Baby fever – get it?! Oh, my sides.

silver tranny ferocia hot mess.

This is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Mostly when Tim Gunn & Heidi Klum come in.

See, the problem is…

…that when nothing goes on in your life, it’s hard to blog.

I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise.

I mean, I DO things, but do these things warrant a post in my blog?

The only thing post worthy is that a notable Minneapolis gang chose to tag our garage. I’m pretty sure they’re laying claim to our garage, as well as dissing another reputable (well, maybe not reputable) Minneapolis gang. Can you imagine? All on our garage?! It’s pretty sweet. I think it’s in grease pen so it should be easy to remove, since our garage isn’t sided with fancy vinyl siding.

What else…what else. ::drumming fingers on table::

Going home for Jesus’ resurrection this weekend. Not really long enough to hang out with friends, which is a bummer.

Miles the cat is illin’ as of late. The herp is flaring up in him again, probably brought on by his recent wellness check at the vet. I take him there, they tell me he’s fine, and then he gets sick from the stress of being at the vet. Catch-22 I suppose. He was all sneezy and stuffy and unable to breathe, so I went to Target last night and bought a humidifier for him. :) I put it on my side of the bed because he always sleeps on me at night – I think it helped, he seemed a little better this morning.

Book club is meeting at my house tonight. Eighty more pages to read in “Atonement” before they get there. I also have to clean before they arrive. Maybe I should leave work early. Hmmm. Hoping Miles is a little better this evening so he’s not walking around sneezing on strangers. The ladies will think I have a weird house of cats – BooBoo will be hissing and scratching them while Miles sits and sneezes his herpes snot everywhere. I love my boys. :)
