But now I’m back. Sorry about the crazy hiatus. Alas, it is summer and I tend to lose track of things, like the fact that it’s been 11 days since I posted. WHOOPS. Fear not, dear internets. I have ideas up my sleevies.
Speaking of sleeves (sort of) – I’m getting a little bit of fresh ink this evening. Just a couple of bees to buzz around my flowers. I’ll post some pictures soon, and then do a little photo catch-up of where I’ve been since we last typed/read.
I’m so effing excited dudes -
I have a post over at BlogHer today about Summer TV. If anything, please visit and take a look, if only to drool over the picture of Alex Skarsgard. (That’s mostly what I’ve been doing.)
Summer TV is Gonna Rule So Hard. And Also? Vampires!
Last Saturday night, my mother-in-law was kind enough to have Abby stay overnight so I could go out one night for adult beverages and some much needed time with my lady friends. We had so much fun, and I had my first hangover in a REALLY long time the next day. (McDonalds helped.)
We had sushi and then headed to a bar called Cafeteria in Uptown. It was much douchier than I had imagined, but we made the best of it. And then I posed on a diaper station.
This is what 2 glasses of champange and 3 beers will do to me.
I’m talking about my bestie, of course.
Please read her post about her weekend with Abby, the toddler: They Grow Up So Fast These Days
Yes, this is one of those posts where I shamelessly self-promote something that involves you voting for me.
However, I’m really excited about this one.
If you’re a member of the BlogHer Network, I submitted my posts The Terrible 1.5′s and Why Rompers are Bad for the BlogHer Voices of the Year competition. I loved writing these posts and thought they were pretty damn funny. If you thought so too, I would love for you to vote for them.
You can submit your vote for The Terrible 1.5′s here. And for Why Rompers are Bad here.
I’m forever indebted to all of you who vote. The rest of you can…keep enjoying my blog.
(See? Look how nice I am? NOW VOTE FOR ME DAMMIT.)
(And because I used the word six times in this post, here it is again. VOTE.)
