I’m a bad blogger.

I know, I know…I’ve been less than active in the posting department.

So, what’s new? My weekend at home was AWESOME. I slept in, got the house clean…and laid around. It was heaven.

Friday, I found my Halloween costume, at last.

And other accessories, of course. I’m very excited. I’m planning on doing up my neck, decapitation style. So I’ll be sexy AND gory! The best of both worlds. :)

Hmmm, what else. My poor sweet Milo (the cat) spent the night at the UofM Small Animal hospital, in anticipation of some procedures he’s having done today, like a CAT scan (ba dum bum) and a rhinoscopy. His poor sniffer is still not working right, so hopefully they find something, and not something too serious. I kept having dreams about taking him to kitty chemo. :( I’m still waiting to hear from them about what time he’ll be going in, as well as waiting for the findings and when I can pick him up and bring him home.

What else…tomorrow is tattoo day. I’m a little nervous, to say the least. I’ve heard foot tattoos hurt pretty damn bad, but I figure, if I survived the walk, I can survive a tattoo. I’ll fill in how that goes tomorrow. I’ll take a picture too. :)

This weekend, a wedding, corn maze, and birthday party.

Eleven hours.

Category not so much, the cats

I worked for eleven hours yesterday.

I will likely work for 10 today.

Tomorrow, I’m getting Boo catheterized (to determined his possible pee-status) and similarly getting the oil changed in our CR-V.

Then, a long weekend at a cabin with friends.

I cannot wait for it. Cannot WAIT.

At least my house is clean.

Category house stuffs, I am awesome, the cats, The Hubs

Not what I wore while cleaning.

Four hours of non-stop house cleaning and my abode is ready for a parental pop-in.

I vacuumed, mopped, straightened, dusted, arranged flowers, did dishes. I should have taken some pictures. Something tells me once I get home from work in a few hours that the husband will have somehow undone some of my hard work.

The parents will be here in about 7 hours.

Things I have to do before they get here:

Take kitties to the vet to get cathader-ized. (Pee-ers begone!)
Go to grocery store.
Go to home improvement store.
Clean bathroom – again (I can only assume).
Drink copious amounts of wine.

I’m in a surprisingly good mood today. Probably because I woke up to a home worthy of a spread in some home magazine. Certainly not Domino. Maybe Better Homes & Gardens if they had a sloppy 20-somethings issue.

Taking a quick break…

…from losing my mind to update my blog. Martini’s been on my case. :)

This week has been retarded. And I’m not apologizing for using that word. It has been nothing short of RETARDED. It’s already Thursday. I have no effing clue where the week went. This is problematic since I have 9,358 things to get done before noon tomorrow and no time to do it. Mostly work stuff. House is in shambles. Laundry needs to be done. Yard needs tending. Cat(s) have decided to ruin our lives by peeing in places in the basement that don’t include their litter box. Carpets have been torn out.

I feel lightheaded and craptastic today. I would love to go home but our internet at home has been less than spectacular.

My parents will be in town in about 28 hours. I’m looking forward to this, but feel as though I will not get my house in the shape it needs to be in for a parental visit. Especially since our entire basement reeks of cat urine.

God help me.

See, the problem is…

…that when nothing goes on in your life, it’s hard to blog.

I am Jack’s complete lack of surprise.

I mean, I DO things, but do these things warrant a post in my blog?

The only thing post worthy is that a notable Minneapolis gang chose to tag our garage. I’m pretty sure they’re laying claim to our garage, as well as dissing another reputable (well, maybe not reputable) Minneapolis gang. Can you imagine? All on our garage?! It’s pretty sweet. I think it’s in grease pen so it should be easy to remove, since our garage isn’t sided with fancy vinyl siding.

What else…what else. ::drumming fingers on table::

Going home for Jesus’ resurrection this weekend. Not really long enough to hang out with friends, which is a bummer.

Miles the cat is illin’ as of late. The herp is flaring up in him again, probably brought on by his recent wellness check at the vet. I take him there, they tell me he’s fine, and then he gets sick from the stress of being at the vet. Catch-22 I suppose. He was all sneezy and stuffy and unable to breathe, so I went to Target last night and bought a humidifier for him. :) I put it on my side of the bed because he always sleeps on me at night – I think it helped, he seemed a little better this morning.

Book club is meeting at my house tonight. Eighty more pages to read in “Atonement” before they get there. I also have to clean before they arrive. Maybe I should leave work early. Hmmm. Hoping Miles is a little better this evening so he’s not walking around sneezing on strangers. The ladies will think I have a weird house of cats – BooBoo will be hissing and scratching them while Miles sits and sneezes his herpes snot everywhere. I love my boys. :)
