About

Hi. I’m Jenna.

The short story:
I’m a wife, a mom, and I’m in my 30s. A kid about 14 years younger than me called me “ma’am” at the grocery store. I’m still recovering from that incident. I’ve been blogging for a while now, from a few months in college to our wedding planning, marriage, baby baking and now attempts at raising a non-hellion.

The long story:
I grew up in Wisconsin (lovingly referred to as WISCOMPTON), moved to Minnesota to “further my education” at the ripe old age of 17, and wound up with a Graphic Design degree from the good old University of Minnesota. Then I got a job that (of course) did not utilize my degree at all. Let’s hear it for college! Anyway…

I met my husband through a friend at a dive bar in Uptown. Nearly 4 years later we were married.

Two years after that I gave birth to our daughter Abigail.

And 4.5 years after that, we had our son Elliott.

We live in the burbs of Minneapolis/St. Paul, where it is winter for 6 months out of the year and people attempt a way of life known as “Minnesota Nice.” I’m a cube monkey five days of the week. I am a nerd. I am a music snob. I love my kiddos and the hubs more than words can say.

And because it’s the only aspect of blogger.com that I miss…THE QUESTION.

You forgot your mom’s birthday! What can you make out of super glue and olive pits?
A “Pitty Patty.” This is in reference to Fusilli Jerry (See Seinfeld – episode 107, season 6).
