The hubs and I had a TON of fun in Milwaukee this weekend. We stayed with friends E. and B. and watched the Twins manhandle the Brewers. Then we went out for beers to some sweet bars and then crashed at their apartment.

I will say this – I have been to Milwaukee many times in my day. Most visits result in this thought – “It’s a nice place to visit but I would NEVER want to live there.” However, this time, I actually really really liked the places we went to and the neighborhoods we were in. I actually thought for a split second “Maybe I could live here.” But then I snapped out of it. In all seriousness though, E & B showed us a great time, and were still civil to us even after the Twins mauled their beloved Brewers.
