Summertime Sickies SUCK.

What’s the date today? Oh, that’s right it’s July 30th – almost AUGUST.

And I’m sucking down Halls as if they’re going out of style. Why, you ask? Oh, because I have a SORE THROAT. IN JULY. This is such bull. People aren’t supposed to get sick in the summer. That’s what winter is for. Everyone walks around sniffling and sneezing on each other, but that’s totally cool because no one wants to leave the house during the winter. Unlike summer, when I have to walk 83,028 miles to train for the 3-Day and would also just like to feel well so I can enjoy the nice, beautiful weather while it lasts. September is just a little over a month away, meaning it’ll snow in like 3 months.

FU cold. Or whatever is causing my sore throat. FU!

Awesome news.

The husband got a new job!

Finally – the exit from the mortgage industry he’d been waiting for! His good friend got him a job that will hopefully make paying our mortgage a drop in the bucket. The first 6 months will be rough, but will pay off in the end.

Best of all – he’s leaving a job that he hated with every inch of his being. Hopefully he’ll love his new job. :)

Congrats my dear!

Phone Test.

I apparently have a love hate relationship with water.

I never drink water. And it finally caught up to me.

I sat in Urgent Care for three hours yesterday being diagnosed as severely dehydrated and receiving 2 bags of fluid via IV. Even after the 2 bags, I still didn’t have to pee. (They were a little worried about that.) But, I feel better. I was having weird tingly sensations in my hands and feet. They started Friday night, went away a bit Saturday, back a little on Sunday and were full effect again yesterday morning, hence the trip to UC. I’m so glad I went though.

Tomorrow – company picnic. I’m on a “human foosball” team. Don’t ask.
